Thanks for the thoughts! I totally agree that correctness is secondary to storytelling. Just as new writers lack a grasp of both, the ones who are advanced enough to tell a somewhat good story do themselves a disservice if they are apathetic about grammar and wordsmithing.
I wrote this for those writers that have finished the "story" aspect of their script and are now ready to touch up the finer details in their polishing phase. So many of the screenwriting blogs and books I've read focus on the story aspect to the neglect of the technical elements. To me, a mastery of both is necessary. That's why some of my articles focus on story and others on technical matters. I'm especially fascinated how the finer points of grammar can elevate storytelling, too. :)
