You’re thinking about trying Kajabi (affiliate link), but not sure where to start? Maybe overwhelmed by all the options and systems? That’s okay! I’m a course creator who’s used Kajabi for years, and I’m a UX designer, so let me give you some pointers on getting started with Kajabi.

Three Basic Things

Let’s start with the basics.

You’re on Kajabi in order to help people, right? That’s the basis of any business. To provide value to a customer. I’m going to show you how to do that in Kajabi.

You need two things to do that: a product and an offering.

Those might sound like the same thing, but I’ll explain the Kajabi lingo and then show you how to create each one.

  • A product is anything you’re going to use to help someone — that could be a course, a download, or a coaching session.
  • An offer is the sales package by which you sell your product or group of products.

Think of it like this: the product is the present, and the offer is the box you put the gift inside.

Create a Product

So, to create a product, follow these steps:

  1. Select “Products” in the menu
  2. Click “New product”
  3. Select the type of product.
  4. Enter a title and description.
